I loved relaxing in the cozy sitting area while sipping on fresh coffee from the Keurig right outside my room, which felt like a home away from home. There were nice spots to unwind and chat with other guests, making the experience even more enjoyable. Just be ready for the surrounding area, as it has some rough patches, but it didn’t spoil our good time at all! 😊

Staying at Vistula Rose B & B felt like stepping into a time capsule of charm. The renovated Victorian mansion is breathtaking, filled with stunning antiques and unique decor. My room, the Double Room with Private Bathroom, was exceptionally spacious and comfortable. The bed offered a deep sleep with high-quality mattresses, making it perfect before my marathon. I loved that there was a Keurig right outside my room, allowing for a fresh cup of coffee whenever I wanted. Patrick, the host, made my stay unforgettable with his warm hospitality and fascinating stories about the house's history. Breakfast was a highlight. it was delicious and beautifully presented. On the downside, some areas around the exterior still need work, and the surrounding neighborhood can feel a bit sketchy in certain directions. However, those issues didn’t overshadow the delightful experience I had.

historic mansion, beautiful antiques, modernized bathrooms
Though the location feels a bit sketchy in certain directions, the exterior needs attention!!! An adjustable thermostat would improve comfort significantly, instead of relying on space heaters!!! , Coasters would enhance the antique furniture experience!!!

home. Patrick, the host, was welcoming and shared fascinating stories about the mansion's history during breakfast. The modern bathrooms added a nice touch to the historic charm, but the exterior renovations could use some more attention.
